With its signature stepped silhouette and handwoven rattan surface, Italian design maestro Joe Colomboâs Basket series includes a cozily scaled 2 seater. Though best known for his futuristic plastic furniture, Colombo quite persuasively departed from form in this exceptionally well-crafted sofa, with its rattan âskinâ placed over a skeleton made from environmentally responsible steel to give the piece strength and stability. Appealingly deep upholstered cushions exude a promise of comfort, with bespoke coverings available in a range of fine materials.
