Visu Chair: Sled Base

As the Sled Base version shows, Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen's original Visu Chair for Muuto has become a template for an expansive line of iconic seating. And to the designer, that's as it should be: "I wanted Visu to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics. Designing a family of chairs, visually related but for different functions, was an iterative and thorough process lasting nearly 2 years. In the end, I think every detail is exactly as it is supposed to be." Those details are especially persuasive in this stackable sled edition, with a choice of natural finish oak veneer with stainless steel legs or a range of colors with steel legs powder-coat finished to match.
